After a quiet period at True North Towers, we’re delighted to announce that we’ll be hosting fabulous quartet The Charlotte Carrivick Band for a concert in Meltham on Saturday 10th October. We’re especially glad to be back as a few regulars have been asking us when the next event will be, and have told us how much they’ve missed the gigs! Charlotte is a flatpicking guitarist of international renown, in demand for her inventive lead guitar playing, and known for her work with sizzling bluegrass band Midnight Skyracer and as one half of award-winning folk-infused duo The Carrivick Sisters. Her stellar band performs a fabulous mix of contemporary bluegrass, folk, Americana, jazz and country roots, demonstrating their virtuosity across multiple genres while creating a truly fun and enjoyable experience for the audience. We’ve been lucky to have hosted all these musicians in different line-ups for sensational gigs over the years and we’re really looking forward to seeing The Charlotte Carrivick Band performing live at The Carlile Institute this autumn.
